[Remote] System Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SearchWorks is supporting a growing fintech company seeking a technically minded compliance professional to improve and automate its KYC, EDD, and customer-onboarding processes. The Senior Compliance Workflow Analyst will build, troubleshoot, and improve automated workflows, integrate compliance platforms with internal systems and vendors, and translate compliance requirements into scalable operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining automated KYC, KYB, EDD and onboarding workflows
- Configuring triggers, conditional rules, decision logic and case-routing processes
- Automating outcomes such as approval, additional verification and manual review
- Connecting compliance platforms with internal systems and third-party vendors
- Working with API documentation and supporting integrations
- Identifying workflow failures, investigating their causes and implementing solutions
- Translating compliance requirements into scalable operational processes
- Partnering with Compliance, Operations and Technology stakeholders
- Taking ownership of projects in a fast-paced, growing team
Skills
- A KYC, EDD, compliance or financial-crime professional who has personally built workflow automations
- A Business Operations, Systems or Automation professional with fintech experience and exposure to KYC, compliance, onboarding or financial crime
- Hands-on experience personally building or configuring automated workflows
- Previous experience working within a fintech company
- Exposure to KYC, KYB, EDD, compliance, onboarding, fraud or financial crime
- A good understanding of triggers, conditions, routing and decision logic
- Confidence working with systems, vendors, API documentation and integrations
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, independent working style
- Very good business English
- Experience with platforms such as Persona, Sumsub, Retool, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate or similar workflow and decisioning tools
