[Remote] Tax Accountant (ALE)

Responsibilities
- Design tasks involving corporate income tax, indirect taxes, withholding, tax reconciliations, or other areas within your specialty
- Specify the jurisdiction, tax period, relevant facts, and applicable rules for each task
- Develop reference solutions with accurate calculations, supporting schedules, and authoritative citations
- Evaluate agents researching tax guidance, identifying adjustments, preparing workpapers, and explaining conclusions
- Identify outdated rules, jurisdictional errors, unsupported deductions, and missing factual information
Skills
- Degree in accounting, taxation, law, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional expertise
- 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, compliance, or advisory work
- Strong knowledge of tax rules and research methods in at least one jurisdiction
- Experience with tax workpapers, spreadsheets, and relevant tax software
- Fluent English, with strong written communication skills
- Recognized tax or accounting qualification
- Experience with cross-border taxation, tax provisions, or multiple jurisdictions
