[Remote] Tech Recruiter
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PeopleScout is focused on helping clients hire exceptional technology talent through collaborative, culture-aware recruitment. The Senior IT Technical Recruiter will source, assess, and guide technical candidates through the recruitment lifecycle while partnering with hiring managers and maintaining strong talent pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements, team culture, and project goals
- Source candidates using advanced tools and strategies: LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Boolean search, and niche tech communities
- Screen and assess candidates for both technical skills (e.g., AWS, Java, SQL, Kubernetes, Python) and cultural fit
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach to offer negotiation, ensuring a positive candidate experience at every step
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality IT talent for current and future needs
- Track recruitment metrics and continuously refine sourcing strategies for better results
- Stay ahead of tech hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging skill sets
Skills
- • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting within IT, software development, or engineering
- • Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry terminology (e.g., DevOps, cloud platforms, programming languages, network security)
- • Proven ability to source passive candidates through various channels
- • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills: You know how to connect with both candidates and hiring teams
- • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics tools
- • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
