[Remote] Technical Program Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Harvey Nash is seeking a hands-on, technically fluent Technical Program Manager to lead complex enterprise-systems transformation initiatives. The role will coordinate ERP, billing, Salesforce, customer data, governance, and commerce integration programs while managing dependencies, risks, decisions, executive communications, and delivery cadence.
Responsibilities
- Own a single, trusted view of all active initiatives — status (data-driven, not optimism/pessimism), phase, owners, dependencies, risks, and open decisions
- Map and manage cross-system dependencies — e.g., how a delay in an ERP task ripples into a Salesforce data flow and a billing workstream
- Sit in architecture, integration, and design reviews; understand the decisions; push back when a solution moves technical debt rather than resolving it
- Partner with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to keep plans coherent, sequenced, and unblocked by external teams and system integrators
- Produce executive-ready updates and decision briefs for technical and non-technical leadership — context, options, recommendation. Outcomes and trade-offs, not activity logs
- Surface risks before they become issues; no material surprises in steering-committee updates
- Capture decisions and drive follow-through without heavyweight process
- Run a lightweight, predictable operating cadence — weekly leadership brief, initiative reviews, clear escalation thresholds — that reduces meeting churn instead of adding to it
Skills
- • Proven TPM / technical program leadership delivering enterprise / corporate systems programs (ERP, CRM, billing, data platforms, or similar)
- • Hands-on technical competency in the enterprise systems space — able to reason about data models, system integrations, and architecture, and hold your own with engineers and architects
- • Direct experience with enterprise system implementations or re-implementations, ideally ERP (NetSuite strongly preferred) and/or billing/subscription platforms
- • Strong understanding of system integration patterns — APIs, middleware/iPaaS, event-driven or batch data flows between enterprise applications
- • Familiarity with Salesforce and customer/commerce data models and how they connect to downstream financial and operational systems
- • A roll-up-your-sleeves operator who owns the detail and the artifacts, works independently, and drives to outcomes
- • Excellent written communication — able to synthesize complex, multi-team status into concise executive briefs
- • NetSuite re-implementation experience; experience working alongside system integrator (SI) delivery models
- • Billing tool implementations (subscription / usage billing, CPQ)
- • Data cataloging / governance tooling (Databricks, Atlan, or similar)
- • SaaS / high-growth environment experience
- • Comfort with Jira, Smartsheet, and modern integration/data platforms
