[Remote] Technical Program Manager II
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Akamai Technologies is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to support its Cloud Technology PMO team. The role leads cross-functional programs from concept to market, manages risks and roadmaps, maintains work backlogs, and communicates program status and changes to senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Leading cross-functional teams Engineering, Product Management, Network Operations, Sales, Services, and Support to support the product roadmap
- Managing and mitigating risks and developing contingency plans
- Maintaining and communicating backlog of work with key stakeholders, guiding them on priorities based on business needs
- Communicating program status and expectation changes to senior leaders with appropriate frequency, using standardized methods
- Maintaining and iterating on a roadmap of committed work through the current calendar
Skills
- Have 5 years of relevant experience and a High School / Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Demonstrate experience working within a technical team and a good understanding of the software development life cycle
- Be experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Be experience with Internet technologies or protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP
- Be able to analyze workload and communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders of varying technical ability
- Have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills needed to work across global constituencies
