[Remote] Technical Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CloudIQ Technologies provides cloud infrastructure, application modernization, and data analytics engineering services. The Technical Project Manager will manage complex technology projects across application, cloud, integration, product, and production-support environments while coordinating technical teams, clients, deployments, risks, and delivery activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical projects through the complete lifecycle, including requirements, planning, development, testing, implementation, deployment, and production support
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables
- Lead client meetings, technical discussions, status meetings, sprint planning, release planning, and project reviews
- Coordinate activities across development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, database, integration, product, and application-support teams
- Translate business/client requirements into clear technical tasks and delivery plans
- Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and scope
- Manage project risks, dependencies, blockers, change requests, and escalations
- Coordinate production deployments, application upgrades, migrations, releases, and integration activities
- Support production/application-support processes, including incident management, problem management, escalation, and resolution tracking
- Coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major production issues and ensure corrective actions are completed
- Monitor and report on project KPIs, SLAs, risks, issues, and overall delivery health
- Manage client expectations and provide clear communication regarding project status, risks, dependencies, and technical challenges
- Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, meeting notes, action items, status reports, and other delivery documentation
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release activities as required
- Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills
- • 7+ years of overall IT experience
- • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Technical Delivery Manager, or similar role
- • Proven experience managing client-facing technical projects
- • Strong understanding of application development and production-support environments
- • Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and workstreams
- • Strong stakeholder and client-management skills
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, risks, and escalations simultaneously
- • Experience working with geographically distributed/onshore-offshore teams
- • Healthcare, public-health, or health-tech project experience
- • Experience working within a product/SaaS environment
- • Experience managing application implementation, integration, migration, and production-support projects
- • PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar certification is a plus
