[Remote] Technical Writer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Team Carney, Inc. provides training, learning, human capital, and technical solutions for Federal Government agencies. The Technical Writer translates complex scientific, medical, and IT concepts into accessible language and produces publication-ready deliverables, user guides, video scripts, and marketing assets.
Responsibilities
- You will translate complex scientific, medical, and IT concepts into clear, accessible language for end users
- Writing and editing project deliverables, user guides, video scripts, and marketing assets, you ensure all written documentation is publication-ready and easily understood
Skills
- At least an Associate Degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience of professional experience with technical writing/editing
- Mastery of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and publishing tools
- Proven ability to explain complex technical ideas in simple, grade-school-level language
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability clearance
