[Remote] Technical Writer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Novozen Healthcare LLC is seeking a Technical Writer to support pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role develops and maintains technical documentation for Process Engineering, Systems, Maintenance, Facilities, and Manufacturing teams, while collaborating with subject-matter experts and managing high-volume documentation projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update SOPs, Work Instructions, Training Materials, Task Sheets, and technical procedures
- Create and maintain Maintenance, Calibration, Facilities, Utilities, and equipment documentation
- Support Process Engineering, Systems, Maintenance, Facilities, and Manufacturing teams
- Collaborate with SMEs to gather, validate, and translate complex technical information into clear documentation
- Review and update existing documents to address gaps, inconsistencies, and process changes
- Support completion and remediation of approximately 200 technical documents
- Ensure documentation accurately reflects current equipment, systems, and operational practices
- Manage multiple documentation projects, reviews, and deadlines in a high-volume environment
Skills
- Strong Technical Writing experience supporting Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Systems, or Manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with SOPs, Work Instructions, Task Sheets, Training, Maintenance, and Calibration documentation
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and GMP requirements
- Experience working with engineers, technicians, facilities teams, and technical SMEs
- Excellent technical writing, editing, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to understand complex technical processes and convert them into clear, practical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume documentation projects
- Experience with controlled-document processes and electronic document management systems is preferred
- Experience with documentation remediation or large-scale documentation projects is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Life Sciences, English, or a related field preferred
