[Remote] Test Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cadmus provides technology-empowered advisory and implementation services to government, commercial, and private organizations. The Test Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of complex enterprise systems by developing and executing data and system testing strategies, validating requirements and integrations, managing defects, and supporting system releases and production issues.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data testing strategies aligned to complex workflows, business rules, and system integrations
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation based on detailed requirements analysis
• Perform end-to-end testing and manage defects, including test logging, validation, and results tracking
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, refine testing, and support releases
• Validate data and integration outputs, including API testing across environments
• Partner with client SMEs to triage, reproduce, and resolve defects, including production support as needed

Skills

• * Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Information Systems, or similar)
• * 2-4 years of experience in data or system testing within complex, enterprise environments
• * Experience querying and validating large, complex data sets; working knowledge of SQL preferred
• * Agile experience required
• * Ability to obtain a FNS MBI Clearance is required
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen
• * Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar cloud data tools) preferred
• * SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks preferred
• * Exposure to scripting or data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) is a plus but not required
