[Remote] USA - Program Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alpha Business Solutions is seeking a Program Manager, Oncology to support U.S. Medical Affairs and Oncology initiatives. The role manages complex cross-functional programs from planning through execution, coordinating stakeholders, budgets, timelines, risks, communications, vendors, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple Oncology projects from planning through execution, tracking milestones, budgets, KPIs, risks, and dependencies
- Partner with Medical Affairs leaders and cross-functional teams to support brand strategy and tactical planning
- Coordinate project priorities, timelines, resources, and deliverables across matrixed teams
- Facilitate meetings, develop agendas, document decisions, and track action items
- Provide regular project status updates, identify issues, and escalate risks requiring leadership attention
- Support budget planning and process management for Oncology programs
- Analyze project and business data to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices
- Manage program communications and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Support vendor performance management and issue resolution
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of project management experience in healthcare, or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience managing cross-functional projects in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments
- Strong project/program management, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in matrixed organizations and influencing decisions without direct authority
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience managing vendor performance and mitigating project issues
- Oncology experience
- Finance or budget management experience
- Pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experience
- PMP certification
