[Remote] Vice President of Operations

Iron Branch Wealth is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations, improve processes, and support strategic objectives. The role leads operational planning, resource coordination, performance monitoring, and cross-functional execution in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Develop and improve operational procedures, workflows, and internal processes
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency
- Work with executive leadership to implement operational strategies and business initiatives
- Establish performance objectives and monitor progress toward organizational goals
- Provide operational insights and recommendations to support management decisions
- Support operational budgeting, expense monitoring, and resource allocation
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve the use of company resources
- Coordinate with finance personnel to support accurate operational reporting and planning
- Lead and support operations personnel while establishing clear responsibilities and performance expectations
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to improve communication and collaboration
- Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development
- Maintain effective operational controls and support internal policy implementation
- Identify operational risks and coordinate appropriate corrective actions
- Support business continuity, documentation standards, and compliance-related processes in collaboration with relevant professionals
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to executive leadership
- Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements where needed
- Support the implementation of technology and systems that enhance operational efficiency
- Review existing operational procedures and identify areas for improvement
- Establish clear workflows, reporting structures, and performance expectations
- Strengthen coordination across business functions and improve resource utilization
- Develop an operational improvement plan aligned with the company's business goals
- The Vice President of Operations may perform additional responsibilities consistent with the position's seniority, delegated authority, and the company's evolving business needs
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
- Significant experience in operations management, business administration, or organizational leadership
- Strong skills in strategic planning, process improvement, and performance management
