[Remote] Web Producing Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MBO Partners is seeking an experienced Web Producing Project Manager to lead the development and optimization of web pages and digital experiences. This role will manage web initiatives from intake through publishing, collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end web production projects from initial intake and briefing through development, QA, staging, and publishing
- Lead project intake discussions to clarify requirements, scope, stakeholders, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines
- Develop and manage project plans, deadlines, assignments, and workflows across internal teams and external agency partners
- Coordinate reviews and approvals across Marketing, Product, Design, Engineering, Content, Compliance, Legal, UX/UI, SEO, and other stakeholders
- Lead design and content handoffs, ensuring approved copy, creative assets, and requirements are packaged into clear and actionable web build requests
- Manage agency and development handoffs and ensure teams have the information and assets necessary to execute successfully
- Drive QA discussions and coordinate the identification, tracking, and resolution of issues prior to launch
- Oversee staging, final approvals, and publishing workflows
- Maintain clear communication around project status, milestones, delivery timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Proactively identify and escalate blockers, red flags, and potential delivery risks while developing practical solutions to keep projects moving
- Manage multiple concurrent web initiatives in a high-volume, high-velocity environment
- Help establish, document, and continuously improve web production processes and workflows
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, collaboration, and overall delivery
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations as new web production processes and workflows are piloted and refined
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve web production and project management processes
Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing web production projects from intake through publishing
- Demonstrated experience working within a technology or digital product environment
- Strong project management capabilities combined with a solid understanding of web production processes and digital experiences
- Hands-on experience working with no-code CMS platforms, particularly Webflow and/or WordPress
- Experience managing web projects involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including Design, Engineering, Marketing, Content, UX/UI, SEO, Legal, and Compliance
- Strong understanding of web production workflows, including briefing, design and content reviews, development handoffs, QA, staging, approvals, and publishing
- Experience managing deadlines, dependencies, risks, and competing priorities across multiple simultaneous projects
- Ability to proactively drive projects forward, escalate blockers, and maintain accountability across internal and external teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with external agencies or development partners on web production initiatives
- Experience supporting or building new web production processes within an evolving or pilot environment
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, efficiency, or digital production processes
- Experience working in high-growth, high-velocity technology organizations
