[Remote] Wholesale Account Manager - New Jersey
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ascend Wellness Holdings is seeking a Wholesale Account Manager to grow and support its wholesale business across New Jersey. The role manages retail partner relationships, develops new business, supports product launches, and drives sales and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a comprehensive wholesale strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives within the assigned territory (NJ)
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue goals
- Build and sustain strong relationships with existing wholesale partners and potential clients
- Identify new business opportunities, lead negotiations with potential wholesale partners, and assess the performance of existing partnerships
- Explore and target new markets and regions to expand wholesale operations
- Cultivate effective relationships with key decision-makers
- Contribute to the development of merchandising strategies and account-specific marketing initiatives
- Represent the company at industry events and tradeshows, as well as company-sponsored functions
- Perform pricing and cost analysis to support business decisions
Skills
- A minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience, outside sales experience required
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Passionate about building and nurturing strong relationships
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to negotiate effectively across various levels
- Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- 1+ years of sales experience in New Jersey cannabis market preferred
- Experience with HubSpot or other CRM systems is preferred
