[Remote] Workday Finance Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Signature IT World Inc is seeking multiple hands-on Workday Finance Developers to support a major financial systems transformation and expansion of the Workday Financials environment. The role focuses on configuring, developing, enhancing, automating, troubleshooting, and supporting Workday Finance solutions while partnering with Finance and Accounting stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, enhance, and support solutions within Workday Financials
- Partner directly with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, and other business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations, workflows, and technical solutions
- Support a large-scale financial transformation focused on automation, process improvement, and accelerating the financial close
- Participate in the re-engineering and optimization of Workday Finance processes associated with a new financial data model and Chart of Accounts
- Configure and enhance Workday business processes and workflows
- Troubleshoot Workday Finance issues and identify root causes and solutions
- Support financial reporting and related Workday functionality
- Assist with testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing production support
- Work independently to identify issues, recommend improvements, and deliver solutions rather than relying solely on detailed direction from others
- Collaborate with Workday Finance leads, developers, offshore resources, and other Workday teams

Skills
- Multiple years of hands-on experience supporting Workday Financials
- Hands-on experience configuring and/or developing solutions within Workday Finance
- Understanding of accounting and financial business processes
- Experience configuring Workday business processes and workflows
- Ability to gather requirements directly from Finance stakeholders and translate those requirements into Workday solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience working throughout the solution lifecycle, including requirements, configuration/development, testing, deployment, and support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to independently manage assigned initiatives and proactively identify solutions
- Strong Business Analysis capabilities combined with hands-on Workday experience
- Experience with Workday Accounting Center
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics
- Workday reporting experience, including Calculated Fields and Composite Reports
- EIB experience
- Experience with Workday financial integrations
- Experience supporting Source-to-Pay, Financial Accounting, Banking/Treasury, or financial close processes
- Experience with financial transformation or Workday Finance optimization initiatives
- Exposure to Workday architecture or solution design
- Retail or Consumer Products industry experience
- Workday certifications are beneficial but not required
