[Remote] Workday Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Virtual Labs is seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Project Manager with extensive hands-on experience leading Workday Adaptive Planning implementations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering enterprise planning solutions covering Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Planning, requiring strong project management and stakeholder management expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and overall project delivery
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define planning processes
- Implement and optimize Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Workforce Planning, and CapEx Planning solutions
- Configure and maintain Dashboards
- Reports
- Forecast models
- What-if scenario planning
- Ensure data accuracy, system performance, and seamless integration with source systems
- Drive project governance, change management, and status reporting
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including business users, consultants, and technical resources
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, and documentation
- Establish best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for Adaptive Planning
Skills
- 8+ years of overall IT/ERP project management experience
- 5+ years of deep, hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
- Proven experience leading multiple Workday Adaptive Planning implementations
- Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Workforce Planning (Headcount Planning)
- Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Planning
- Scenario Modeling & What-if Analysis
- Experience configuring Dashboards

- Data integration
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with Workday integrations and enterprise financial systems
- Workday Adaptive Planning certification
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent Project Management certification
- Experience working with global enterprise implementations
- Background in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A
