Sales Manager - Industrial Water Treatment A progressive regional water treatment chemical manufacturer is looking for an experienced water treatment chemical sales manager for their business based in North and South Carolina. Manager will focus on new sales of boiler, cooling tower and pretreatment applications in the territory while also managing a sales team of two junior sales reps . Manager will oversee sales into industrial, commercial and institutional markets in North and South Carolina. Manager will also assist junior sales reps in sales and development. Manager will report to home office in Charlotte, NC occasionally but will primarily work from a home based office. Manager can live anywhere in North or South Carolina, but must be willing to travel. Company offers a base salary of 125-150K, plus excellent commissions, company car, expenses, cell phone, laptop, 401K contribution and comprehensive benefits package. Job Requirements Company is looking for someone with the following qualifications: 4 year degree in a technical field (chemistry, biology, engineering, etc.) At least 6 years of direct water treatment chemical sales into the industrial, commercial and institutional markets. Previous sales management experience highly desired Proven successful sales record Strong mechanical aptitude Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
