About the Client Our client is a rapidly growing digital marketing agency specializing in custom web design, SEO, SEM, and lead generation for dental businesses across the U.S. They help local practices improve their online visibility, generate more qualified leads, and grow their businesses through data-driven digital marketing strategies. They are looking for an SEO Specialist who can support SEO execution across multiple client accounts, optimize websites, improve local search visibility, and help implement strategies that drive measurable business results.
About the Role
This is a hands-on SEO role focused on execution, website optimization, and local search performance. The ideal candidate has strong SEO fundamentals, enjoys working directly on websites, and can turn SEO recommendations into implemented improvements. The person in this role will work across multiple client accounts, supporting technical SEO, on-page optimization, content improvements, local SEO initiatives, and link-building efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being detail-oriented, solving SEO challenges, and continuously developing their expertise.
Responsibilities
- Execute SEO strategies across multiple client websites, focusing on technical SEO, on-page optimization, content improvements, and local search visibility.
- Update and optimize WordPress websites, including implementing SEO recommendations directly through Elementor or similar page builders.
- Perform SEO audits and identify opportunities across website structure, metadata, internal linking, headings, URLs, images, technical issues, and user experience.
- Optimize Google Business Profiles and support local SEO initiatives, including local landing pages, citations, reviews, and location-based content.
- Develop and implement content optimization strategies, including service pages, location pages, blogs, and internal linking improvements.
- Support link-building initiatives, including identifying opportunities, researching prospects, and assisting with third-party outreach strategies.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, local visibility, and SEO performance using analytics and SEO tools.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, copywriters, and internal team members to implement SEO improvements.
- Maintain organized workflows, documentation, and task tracking to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
- Research competitors and identify opportunities to improve rankings, visibility, and website performance.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content optimization.
- Hands-on experience updating and optimizing WordPress websites, especially using Elementor or similar page builders.
- Experience implementing SEO recommendations directly on websites, including metadata, internal linking, headings, URL structure, image optimization, and basic technical improvements.
- Strong understanding of local SEO fundamentals, including Google Business Profile optimization, local landing pages, citations, reviews, and location-based content.
- Knowledge and experience with link building strategies and third-party link outreach.
- Ability to independently execute SEO tasks, manage priorities, and complete assigned projects with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use SEO tools and performance data to make decisions.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with local service businesses such as dental, healthcare, legal, restaurants, or home services.
- Experience working in an agency environment managing multiple client accounts.
- Familiarity with Google Ads or paid media campaigns.
- Experience with SEO tools such as BrightLocal, Local Falcon, Local Viking, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or Sitebulb.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
- Experience communicating directly with clients or internal stakeholders.

- Compensation in USD, depending on experience.
- 100% remote contractor position.
- Paid time off: 14 days PTO + Paid Christmas week + 4th of July week + U.S. holidays.
- Work schedule: 9 AM – 5 PM Mountain Standard Time (some flexibility for overlapping hours with the U.S. team).
