Senior Associate Attorney
Senior Associate Attorney | California Foreclosure Litigation Join a leading law firm specializing in mortgage servicing and foreclosure-related legal matters. We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our California Foreclosure Trustee Litigation Department. This role will focus on managing defensive litigation matters on behalf of foreclosure trustees and working directly with clients on case strategy, litigation management, and resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage foreclosure trustee litigation matters from inception through resolution Analyze cases and develop strategic recommendations for clients Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings Handle all phases of discovery, including written discovery and document review Attend and represent clients at telephonic and in-person court hearings Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, developments, and outcomes Maintain and prioritize a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to drive successful case results Assist with special projects and additional litigation matters as needed Ideal Candidate Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active California Bar admission required 5-10 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation, real estate law, mortgage servicing, or foreclosure-related matters Utah Bar admission is a plus, but not required Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proven ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other technology tools Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically Self-starter who takes initiative and works independently Client-focused with a commitment to providing outstanding service Team-oriented and willing to support colleagues when needed Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal work
