Senior Category Manager - Cloud, Software & Digital Services

Role: Senior Category Manager - Cloud, Software & Digital Services Location: Northridge, California Remote

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology or related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive strategic sourcing, procurement or category management experience, including significant technology-category responsibility.
• Demonstrated record of independently leading large, complex technology negotiations.
• Deep experience negotiating enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, licensing and technology services agreements.
• Demonstrated work experience managing a high volume of simultaneous contracts, negotiations and renewals in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
• Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to drive issues to resolution and agreements to closure.
• Strong understanding of software licensing, SaaS and cloud commercial models.
• Experience negotiating enterprise agreements, MSAs, SaaS agreements, cloud agreements, licensing agreements and SOWs.
• Ability to analyze complex pricing structures and develop sophisticated negotiation strategies.
• Strong financial capabilities including TCO analysis, benchmarking and scenario modeling.
• Ability to influence senior IT and business leaders and constructively challenge supplier and internal assumptions.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Ability to operate independently with limited day-to-day direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct negotiation experience with major enterprise technology providers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, AWS, ServiceNow, Google, Adobe or comparable strategic technology suppliers.
• Experience negotiating large enterprise licensing agreements and cloud consumption commitments.
• Experience with FinOps, software asset or license optimization.
• Experience sourcing AI and emerging technology solutions.
• Experience within medical device, healthcare, life sciences or another highly regulated global environment.
