Job Title:Senior Cloud Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months + Extension Bill Rate: $85/hour Job Type: W-2 Contract Client: To Be Discussed Later Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen, H-1B, OPT-EAD, GC-EAD Job Description: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and OCI platforms. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting tools. Administer and support Linux-based environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Develop and maintain automation scripts for system administration, infrastructure management, monitoring, and deployments. Implement cloud security best practices, compliance controls, and governance standards. Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot performance issues, and perform root cause analysis of incidents. Manage cloud networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, and security groups. Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements. Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams for cloud transformation initiatives. Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs across AWS and OCI environments. Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures. Participate in on-call support and incident management activities as required.
