🚀 Welcome to Your Next Adventure!
In this position, you will work with product managers, product designers, engineers, data scientists, and business teams in a cross-functional setting. As a Senior Product Analyst, your core function is to help product teams decide what to build and measure whether it worked. You will define product metrics, analyze how customers use the Snoonu app, design and evaluate experiments, and turn findings into clear product recommendations.
🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On:
- Partner with product managers and designers from discovery to launch to define success metrics for features and product areas.
- Design, analyze, and report on A/B tests, and set standards for how experiments are run and interpreted.
- Build and maintain funnel, conversion, retention, and engagement analyses across the customer journey.
- Identify friction points and growth opportunities in the product and turn them into prioritized recommendations.
- Define event tracking requirements with engineering and make sure product data is accurate and complete.
- Create and maintain self-serve dashboards that product teams use to monitor feature and product health.
- Measure the impact of launches that cannot be A/B tested, using quasi-experimental methods.
- Participate in technical interviews to evaluate candidates.
- Mentor junior analysts and raise the quality of product analysis across the team.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or data science.
- At least 5 years of experience in product analytics, preferably in a senior or lead role at a consumer app or marketplace.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Hands-on experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests, including sample size, power, guardrail metrics, and interpreting results.
- Experience defining product metrics and KPIs, and building funnel, retention, cohort, and engagement analyses.
- Experience working with event and clickstream data from mobile or web apps.
- Ability to turn unclear product questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain insights and trade-offs to product managers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors in data and tracking.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while collaborating effectively in a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Causal inference skills beyond A/B tests, such as difference-in-differences or synthetic control, for cases where experiments are not possible.
- Experience with experimentation platforms such as Statsig, Optimizely, or Eppo.
- Experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel, or with writing event tracking plans.
- Proven experience in a multi-sided marketplace, super app, or food or parcel delivery service.
- Experience modeling unit economics at the transaction level and linking product changes to their impact on those economics.
- Familiarity with data modeling and pipelines, such as dbt and BigQuery.
