Senior Database Developer

- Work with a team of database developers and administrators on application development projects.
- Create new database structures, update existing ones, and manage data within complex databases.
- Learn new domains and skillsets in a dynamic environment.
- Support active programs by providing database expertise.
- Troubleshoot, tune SQL, and write performance queries to optimize database operations.
- Collaborate with program staff and customers to make informed design decisions within project constraints.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in database development roles.
- Expertise in data profiling, cleansing, reporting, data staging, and ETL jobs.
- Strong ability to create complex SQL in intricate data environments.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database development.
- Proficiency in writing DDL, DML, and DCL.
- Experience with Git/version control and Python scripting.
- AWS experience, including data migration, validation, data pipelines, CloudWatch, Kibana, and Dynatrace.
- Active Public Trust clearance in DHS or a component of DHS.
