Senior Product Manager — Subscription (f/m/d)
Our client is a Merchant of Record that lets companies sell software globally and manage the full subscription lifecycle. Today's Subscription Management Portal works — but it's limited, fragmented, and under-adopted, especially for complex and enterprise use cases. Your job: turn it into a scalable, core product capability. A shape-it role with room to expand scope as business priorities evolve.
THE ROLE
You own and evolve the subscription lifecycle experience end to end — vision, roadmap, discovery, delivery, and the business outcomes that follow. You translate messy signals into clear priorities and trade-offs, work shoulder to shoulder with Engineering and GTM, and treat shipped features as a means to measurable impact, not the finish line. The role centres on subscriptions today, but asks for a holistic view of the product and company strategy — scope can shift as the business does.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the vision and roadmap — turn signals into priorities and make clear trade-offs aligned with company strategy.
- Define how customers manage subscriptions end-to-end: a scalable, self-service lifecycle experience.
- Drive retention, expansion, and self-service adoption via high-impact initiatives with clear business cases.
- Reduce onboarding and usage friction, and improve how the product integrates into client flows.
- Own the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery with Engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Own outcomes, not just delivery — make sure shipped features translate into measurable business impact.
- Align stakeholders and drive decisions on vision, priorities, and outcomes.
WHAT YOU BRING
The real must-haves:
- 6+ years in product management (SaaS, fintech, or ecommerce), owning customer-facing products end-to-end.
- Strong product judgment — you find the right problems to solve and make clear trade-offs.
- Comfortable defining strategy from first principles in ambiguous spaces.
- Data-driven — you define success upfront and measure outcomes rigorously.
- Experience with complex systems and dependencies (payments, billing, platforms).
- Align and influence senior stakeholders; a bar raiser who mentors other PMs.
- Clear, concise communicator who simplifies complex topics and drives decisions.
Nice-to-haves:
- Hands-on with subscriptions, billing, or invoicing systems.
- Payments or commerce infrastructure experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — ownership, initiative, and drive; at home in fast-changing environments.
