Role Description The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of software products. This position involves designing and executing test plans and test cases, performing manual and exploratory testing, and validating fixes and new features before release. The engineer collaborates closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and improve testing processes. Daily tasks include reviewing requirements for testability, maintaining test documentation, contributing to test automation strategies, and providing clear reporting on quality metrics and risks.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in crypto, blockchain, Web3, fintech, or digital assets. Strong experience testing exchanges, wallets, trading platforms, payment systems, and blockchain applications. Expertise in functional, integration, regression, API, performance, security, and automation testing. Deep understanding of blockchain transactions, smart contracts, token standards, gas fees, confirmations, and network errors. Experience validating deposits, withdrawals, swaps, balances, order execution, liquidations, and transaction settlements. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Postman, SQL, Git, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. Experience testing REST APIs, WebSockets, databases, web applications, and mobile platforms. Ability to investigate blockchain transactions using Etherscan or equivalent explorers. Experience developing automated test frameworks using Python, JavaScript, Java, or comparable languages. Strong understanding of security risks, including unauthorized access, double spending, incorrect balances, and transaction manipulation. Ability to lead QA processes, review test plans, mentor QA engineers, and collaborate with development and product teams. Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
