Senior Software Engineer, Mobile QA

It addresses challenges in mobile app performance and reliability for a large user base by investing in a native mobile app rewrite to enhance speed and user experience. About the Opportunity: The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, MOBILE QA is responsible for leading the development of automated regression testing infrastructure for native iOS and Android applications. This role ensures high-quality mobile releases by integrating test automation into the development process and collaborating with engineering teams to improve app stability and performance. Responsibilities: Design and implement automated regression test suites for native mobile platforms. Develop test infrastructure integrated with AI-assisted code generation and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with mobile engineers to address test coverage gaps and reduce flaky tests. Architect the QA strategy for a greenfield mobile app rollout, balancing quality and urgent product changes. Establish quality dashboards and service level objectives to monitor app stability metrics. Requirements: Over 5 years of software engineering experience focused on mobile test automation. Hands-on experience with XCTest, Espresso, or equivalent native testing frameworks. Proven ability to build automated regression infrastructure integrated into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Buildkite, CircleCI). Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin to write and debug test code. Responsible use of generative AI to enhance workflow efficiency while maintaining human oversight. Pay Range and Compensation Package: Annual base salary range: $186,065 to $218,900 USD, excluding equity and bonus. Total compensation may include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k).
