Job Title: SENIOR SQL SERVER DBA Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Description: - Design complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects. - Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) solutions. - Work closely with application development project teams to ensure optimal application performance. - Optimize database performance through a number of techniques including but not limited to: indexing, query optimization, database design. - Participate in periodic High Availability / Disaster Recovery tests of critical systems . - Proactively monitor database performance, capacity planning and resource consumption. - Provide day to day support for databases and database applications. - Upgrade and patch DBMSs. - Ensure databases and database objects are backed up according to business requirements, and recovery procedures are tested and documented. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field. - 12+ plus years of experience in Database Management / Data Integration. - Proficient SQL Server DBMS. - Strong SSIS (ETL) skills. - Knowledge in data replication technologies (e.g. DTShare, CDC, SQL Replication, Attunity) - Excellent communication skills!!!
