Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner | Remote
This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, California (USA) Our client is seeking to add a Sr. Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to their California team. This remote position will focus on handling California Workers Compensation Lost Time claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess a strong knowledge in California Law and have their SIP. This is a Temporary-to-Hire position with the ability to work fully remote!
- Handle moderate to complex California Workers Compensation claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
- Manage a caseload of 80 - 85 lost time files.
- Manage medical treatment and medical billing when appropriate
- Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
- Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience handling Workers Compensation claims.
- Must be well-versed in California Workers Compensation Law.
- Must have SIP.
- Must have experience handling litigated files.
- Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills.
- High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
Salary/Benefits:
- $45.00/hr to $55.00/hr (Depending on experience) plus Overtime
