Software Developer (Java) - Consultant

Required Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience - 15+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Python enterprise application development - 6+ years of strong experience with AWS and Azure architecture and services - 6+ years of advanced Python scripting and automation experience - 6+ years of deep knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native design - 6+ years of expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines - 6+ years of strong SQL and NoSQL experience Preferred Skills - 6+ years of prior experience working with emerging technologies and driving new perspectives and capabilities - 6+ years of experience in robust development practices, ensuring low-defect products and clearly articulating design and implementation details - 6+ years of solid testing and validation skills, including experience with simulated data Note Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
