Software Engineer III

Role: Software Engineer III (Python, React) Location: Remote, Anywhere in US Job Responsibilities: - Processing data mitigations: pre-processing, executing mitigation pipelines and post-processing. - Optimization: identify optimization opportunities and improve the process. - Implement the frontend (in React) and backend (in PHP or Python) of new features. - Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. - Attend project meetings and work as part of a project team to coordinate software development and determine project scope and limitations. Skills: - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. - Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. - Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery. - Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues. - Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software. Preferred Skills: - Skills on data processing and cleaning, transformation and formatting, data quality control and validation. Must have Skills: - Python experience a must - Some data management experience, e.g. SQL, process large data. - Able to be flexible and work well in different environments with varying tasks and responsibilities Nice-to-have Skills: - Background in AI building tools
