Solution Architect

Solution Architect Location: 100% Remote – Mexico / LATAM Employment Type: Full-time Seniority: Senior / Architect We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to lead the architecture and technical implementation of a Conduit integration platform within a modern enterprise ecosystem. This is not a governance-only architecture role . The ideal candidate will actively participate in solution design, architecture reviews, code reviews, technical problem-solving, security architecture, and implementation guidance. You will work closely with senior engineers and technical stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise-grade integrations, API-based services, orchestration patterns, and MCP capabilities , while establishing reusable connectivity patterns for current and future platform services.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture Own the solution architecture for the Conduit workstream. Design API, APIM, MCP, and integration patterns aligned with enterprise standards. Design orchestration approaches for end-to-end workflows across multiple platform services. Establish reusable integration and connectivity frameworks. Define interface contracts, payload schemas, error-handling models, versioning strategies, retries, and idempotency controls. Support the creation of reusable service wrappers and invocation endpoints. Drive architectural decisions throughout implementation and delivery. Security & Architecture Governance Define authentication and authorization architectures using Microsoft Entra ID . Design OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) implementation patterns. Establish least-privilege access controls and secure secrets-management standards. Define logging, monitoring, auditability, and compliance requirements. Ensure integrations follow enterprise security and architecture standards. Technical Leadership Work closely with developers to provide implementation guidance. Conduct architecture and code reviews. Support backlog refinement and technical planning. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and technical stakeholders. Lead technical discussions and translate architectural decisions into actionable engineering work. Engineering & Delivery Excellence Establish development standards and integration best practices. Support CI/CD processes and deployment strategies. Validate production-readiness requirements. Participate in testing, validation, operational readiness, and deployment activities. Produce architecture documentation, decision records, and knowledge-transfer materials. Strong experience with Azure development and architecture. Deep experience designing REST APIs and enterprise integration services. Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM). Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures. Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security patterns. Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical stakeholders. Demonstrated experience leading technical teams through architecture and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing MCP (Model Context Protocol) solutions. C# / .NET experience. Event-driven architecture experience. Strong Azure Service Bus knowledge. Experience integrating AI-enabled applications and agent-based solutions. Experience with Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, or agentic AI frameworks. Consulting or professional services experience. Azure certifications, particularly Azure Solutions Architect Expert . What Success Looks Like Architecture designs are scalable, secure, practical, and aligned with enterprise standards.
