CAD Modeling Specialist (SolveSpace) Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SolveSpace Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in CAD modeling and engineering design to support an AI training project. In this role, you will use SolveSpace to complete practical CAD design tasks, create and modify 2D and 3D models, and explain your workflows step by step. Your technical expertise will help improve how AI systems understand CAD modeling, parametric design, and engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
Create and edit 2D and 3D CAD models using SolveSpace. Work with parametric sketches, dimensions, and geometric constraints. Demonstrate real-world CAD modeling and engineering design workflows. Clearly explain and document each step of the design process. Review technical tasks and provide feedback to support AI model improvement. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all completed tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional hands-on experience using SolveSpace. Strong understanding of parametric CAD modeling, 2D sketching, and 3D design. Current access to SolveSpace. Ability to explain technical workflows clearly and systematically. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Educational or professional background in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. Previous experience working on professional CAD modeling or engineering projects.
