SQL / Oracle Developer (Contract – 100% Remote) Location: Remote (Client based in Nashville, TN) Duration: Contract through May 2026 (with strong potential for extension) Positions: 3 Openings Start: ASAP (Urgent hiring) Job Overview We are supporting a client in the Nashville, TN market who is seeking three remote contract professionals with experience in SQL, Oracle, and Toad. These roles will support modernization initiatives across the HR and Finance departments, focusing on data transformation, optimization, and system enhancements. Candidates across various experience levels are welcome to apply, with an ideal range of 3–5 years of hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and optimize SQL queries and database objects.
- Work with Oracle databases to support data modernization and system improvements.
- Utilize Toad for database development, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Support data-related initiatives for HR and Finance systems, including reporting and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions efficiently.
- Assist with troubleshooting, data validation, and ongoing system enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with SQL development and querying.
- Hands-on experience working with Oracle databases.
- Proficiency using Toad or similar database development tools.
- Experience supporting or working within HR and/or Finance systems (preferred).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with system modernization or migration projects.
- Exposure to large enterprise data environments.
- Prior contract or consulting experience.
