Pay Range: $41.88 - $62.40 per hour Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.

Summary: This position develops new software applications and update and modify existing applications. Works with the business to customize/update complex software for computer programs, designs prototype applications, implements and tests source code, troubleshoots software applications and effectively execute the development plan. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Other information: • Bachelor degree.

• 3 or more years experience with developing Android/IOS applications. 

• 5 years of experience on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Service - Oriented Architecture (SOA), Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), UML and J2EE Architecture.

• System Analysis and/or application support experience (5 years)

• Experience utilizing techniques and tools including HTML, CSS, .NET, SQL or JavaScript. 

• Experience with scrum and other agile based methodology of software development. 

• Analytical, multi-tasking and problem solving skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications: • 1-3 years experience developing Flutter Applications • 1+ years Experience with Epic (EMR) MyChart development • Familiarity with FHIR

Responsibilities: • Handles complex work critical to the organization. • Develops software applications to meet customer needs. • Understands and follows through with business requirements during all phases of development. • Transforms design into functionality; tests and maintains layout and other components to enhance user-experience. • Implements software applications. • Supports software applications. • Continuously maintains; tests and troubleshoots issues and problems. • Creates installation, troubleshooting, and end user documentation. • Provides support and follow-up for issues. • Other duties as assigned.
