About the Opportunity: The STAFF DATA SCIENTIST role is focused on applying advanced quantitative techniques to develop models and simulations that provide actionable insights. This position is responsible for managing projects from data extraction and preparation through model development, validation, and deployment, directly impacting the organization’s ability to innovate and improve its offerings. Responsibilities: Apply advanced quantitative and statistical methods to support business model development and product innovation Develop and implement Bayesian models and stochastic simulations Analyze user behavior and system performance Manage projects end-to-end including data extraction, cleaning, preparation, model development, validation, and deployment Design and develop proof-of-concept applications to operationalize and demonstrate modeling results Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on methodologies, progress, and key findings to stakeholders Requirements: Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field Experience completing at least two projects utilizing Bayesian inference, stochastic modeling, or both, in academic or professional settings Demonstrated experience developing high-quality functional or object-oriented code with approximately 10,000 lines written in Python, R, or another programming language suitable for data analytics Telecommuting permitted Pay Range and Compensation Package: Salary range from $115,835 to $175,000 Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
