STEM / Non-STEM AI Trainer (MacBook Owner)
Location: Remote (Worldwide / Open to candidates globally) Compensation: $40 – $80 / hour (Part-time, 10–20 hours/week) Role Overview: Seeking analytical, detail-oriented individuals to support a critical research and evaluation project with a leading AI laboratory. In this role, you will help benchmark, stress-test, and improve the capabilities of cutting-edge language models. This is a flexible, structured part-time position designed to provide immediate, high-impact research experience without the typical high pressure of corporate consulting or rigid internship schedules. Critical Hardware Requirement Mandatory: You must own and perform all project tasks on a MacBook or Mac computer (Apple M-series chip or Intel processor) running macOS 15 (Sequoia) or higher. Candidates without a compatible Mac device cannot be onboarded.
Qualifications
Education/Experience: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree, OR possess a Bachelor's degree from a prestigious institution alongside 2–3 years of professional experience. Background: Open to both STEM and non-STEM disciplines (an interdisciplinary degree or background is a strong plus). Research Skills: Strong online investigative skills with a proven ability to gather, evaluate, and clearly summarize complex information from diverse sources. Communication: Exceptional written communication skills in English, with a focus on precision and logical structuring. Key Responsibilities: Develop high-quality, complex research questions, verified answers, and detailed evaluation rubrics to train advanced language models. Analyze and benchmark AI model outputs against strict safety, accuracy, and reasoning frameworks. Commit to a consistent workflow of 10–20 hours per week (Immediate start preferred).
