Structural Designer
Job Description:
- Contribute and support structural design efforts
- Directly contribute to the Firm and its success through drafting and design efforts
- Execute drafting and design duties as required to ensure quality is always maintained
- Capable of interpreting information set forth in a Basis of Design, field surveys and code research
- Responsible for the delivery of the technical design of project tasks from design through construction admin
- Preparation of schematic design and design development drawing sets with direction from the team
- Support to senior engineer by working on specific design tasks, markups, and review comments as assigned
- Development and implementation of design criteria from concept through detailed design and construction
- Attendance and participation in weekly discipline meetings and design review meetings with clients
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years drafting and design experience at an MEP Engineering firm or A-E firm
- Associates degree in Drafting and Design or SE degree
- Operational Experience in REVIT
- Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written
