Supervisor - Onboarding

Supervisor - Onboarding Salary: $65,000-$70,000, annually Location: Fully Remote Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in onboarding compliance, background checks, and I-9 processes who enjoys developing teams and improving the new-hire experience? We're looking for an Onboarding Supervisor to lead a team responsible for ensuring new hires complete all required pre-employment and onboarding activities accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and employment regulations. In this role, you'll combine people leadership, compliance oversight, and process improvement while helping new employees feel welcomed and supported.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing onboarding team, including performance management and professional development Oversee daily onboarding operations, workload distribution, and timely completion of pre-employment requirements Ensure compliance with background check requirements, Form I-9 verification, and applicable employment regulations Monitor onboarding documentation for accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness Identify and resolve compliance gaps, onboarding delays, and escalated issues Partner with Recruiting, HR, and Hiring Managers to ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding process Improve onboarding workflows, procedures, and internal controls to increase efficiency and reduce compliance risks Monitor team performance, onboarding metrics, and compliance trends to identify opportunities for improvement Lead cross-functional initiatives and support additional HR operations as needed Occasional business travel may be required We'd Love to Meet You If You Have: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 4+ years of experience in onboarding, employee experience, or a related HR function Previous leadership or supervisory experience required Experience with onboarding compliance, background checks, and Form I-9 processes Strong knowledge of employment documentation, compliance requirements, and audit procedures Excellent communication, organization, coaching, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance Experience with Workday, applicant tracking systems, or similar HR technology preferred Our Mission: To provide access to the care that matters for those who need it most.
