Tax Associate

We're looking for a Tax Associate to join our Corporate Tax team: someone who's ready to learn fast, work on complex cross-border returns, and grow in an environment where quality and people come first. What You'll Actually Do You'll prepare and work on a real portfolio, not just support work, not just data entry. From day one, you'll be involved in: Preparing corporate and partnership tax returns (revenues from $0 to $100M) across industries like Tech, Pharma, Marketing, Consumer Products Running state and local nexus analyses and apportionment factor calculations Computing federal taxable income and identifying book-to-tax differences Working on international tax forms, 5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 1042-S, FinCEN 114 Collaborating directly with seniors and managers on complex engagements Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2–3 years of international tax experience in a CPA firm Proficiency in at least one tax software Someone who respects deadlines and communicates early when things shift Autonomous, but genuinely enjoys being part of a team High integrity and strong confidentiality instincts US work authorization required CPA in progress 🏥 Health insurance 100% covered, with HSA & FSA options 💰 401(k) with 100% match up to 6% — starting after 3 months 🌴 Unlimited PTO (with a real minimum of 2 weeks — we mean it) 🌍 Flexible remote policy — work from our offices (NYC, Austin, Miami, Atlanta) or anywhere in the US ☕ Office perks: breakfast, afternoon snacks, and Thursday Happy Hours ✈️ Up to 8 weeks/year working from abroad, because we know what it means to be international Why Orbiss?
