About the Role
We’re looking for a technically minded, client-focused Technical Account Specialist to join our Account Management team. You’ll be a trusted point of contact for our clients, helping them get more value from their apps by using Buildfire’s AI tools to design and build new features and functionality. You’ll also coordinate client projects within our professional services team. This role is ideal for someone who loves AI, enjoys working with clients, and wants to grow into a senior account or project management role.
Key Responsibilities
Client Retention & Growth: Build strong client relationships, run quarterly account reviews, and proactively propose new designs and functionality built with Buildfire AI tools to keep clients engaged and growing.
AI-Powered Solutions: Use Buildfire AI tools to prototype, design, and deliver client features, and demonstrate their potential during client meetings.
Project Coordination: Support project plans, timelines, and milestones, and facilitate communication across engineering, product, and QA teams.
Project Ownership: Own smaller initiatives such as client change requests, sub-projects, and patch releases from scoping through delivery.
Tracking & Reporting: Monitor blockers, report progress to leadership, and maintain status dashboards, meeting notes, and action logs in tools such as Jira or Confluence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in account management, project coordination, technical support, or a similar role.
AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, vibe coding platforms, and no-code/low-code solutions to build prototypes and working features.
Technical Understanding: Solid grasp of how software works, including APIs, integrations, and databases. Coding experience is not required.
Problem-Solving: Ability to translate client needs into technical requirements, evaluate AI-generated solutions, and communicate clearly with engineers.
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal English, with strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
Experience with mobile app platforms or SaaS products
Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot
Background in customer success or client-facing roles
