Technical Project Manager, Pharmacy Operations (Remote) Location: Remote (US) · Type: Full-time · Reports to: Pharmacy/Platform Operations Manager · Direct report: Pharmacy & Fulfillment Coordinator · Pay: $100,000–$130,000 About Company The company is a physician-guided weight loss company delivering care through telehealth. Every patient's experience depends on prescriptions moving cleanly from provider to pharmacy to doorstep, and on the systems that connect them. The role You'll run the projects that keep our pharmacy operations running and improving: pharmacy partner onboarding, EMR and pharmacy integrations, and workflow changes that touch our providers, pharmacies and patients. The Pharmacy/Platform Operations Manager sets the priorities; you turn them into plans, keep timelines real and get them to go-live. You'll also lead our Pharmacy & Fulfillment Coordinator, who handles the daily order exceptions, pharmacy follow-ups and shipping issues. What they see day to day feeds the fixes you drive, and the processes you launch become the work they run. What you'll do Run pharmacy and platform projects Plan and run cross-functional projects across operations, pharmacy partners, clinical, product and engineering, from kickoff to go-live Lead pharmacy partner onboarding and changes: e-prescribing setup, order routing, fulfillment and shipping workflows, and SLAs Run EMR-related projects, including configuration changes, integrations with pharmacy and order systems, and data flows between them Build project plans, timelines and risk logs, bring scope, timeline and go-live decisions to the Pharmacy/Platform Operations Manager Write plain-language status updates the Ops Manager can share with leadership Improve fulfillment workflows Map current workflows and find bottlenecks in prescription turnaround and fulfillment Use the Coordinator'd exception and escalation data to spot recurring issues and drive fixes to completion Track project impact on turnaround time, fulfillment accuracy and order exceptions Lead the Pharmacy & Fulfillment Coordinator Hire, train and coach the Coordinator; set daily priorities and review their work Own the Coordinator's playbook: order exception handling, pharmacy follow-ups, shipping issues and escalation paths Be the escalation point for issues the Coordinator can't resolve, and raise systemic ones to the Ops Manager Launch it right Make sure projects meet HIPAA, PHI handling and state pharmacy and telehealth requirements, working with compliance Write SOPs and train the Coordinator and support teams when new processes launch What you bring 4+ years of project management experience, with 2+ years in pharmacy operations (mail-order, specialty, compounding or retail) 1+ year supervising or mentoring at least one team member, or leading day-to-day work of coordinators or specialists Hands-on experience with EMR systems and pharmacy integrations (e-prescribing, order management, fulfillment platforms) Track record delivering cross-functional projects with outside partners and vendors Working knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy regulatory requirements Strong with project tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) Organized, direct communicator who follows through Nice to have Telehealth or DTC healthcare experience, especially weight management or GLP-1 programs Pharmacy background PMP or similar project management certification What we offer 5 days paid time off 5 days paid sick leave 6 paid federal holidays Fully remote with a mission-driven team
