About the position Rising Star Resource Development Corporation is building a talent pipeline of professionals who support telecommunications, unified communications, conferencing technologies, and audio-visual systems. The positions enable workforce collaboration and communications technologies and may include Telecommunications Technician, Unified Communications Specialist, VoIP Technician, Audio Visual Technician, VTC Technician, or Collaboration Support Specialist. The work can be performed remotely in the listed locations, although Rising Star’s office is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The role reports to the Supervisor and is full-time. The listed salary range is \$55,000–\$120,000 annually; the posting notes that estimates may vary based on experience, location, contract requirements, education, certifications, and market conditions.
Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot telecommunications, VoIP, unified communications, audio-visual, VTC, and conferencing technologies.
- Maintain collaboration platforms, conference room solutions, and end-user services.
- Perform testing, documentation, incident resolution, and vendor coordination.
- Support meetings, special events, technology upgrades, and modernization efforts.
Requirements
- Experience with telecommunications, unified communications, AV/VTC, or collaboration environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco, Poly, Webex, or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
- Ability to support onsite and remote users.
