Full-Service Travel Agent | Work From Home Turn your passion for travel into a rewarding career! Do you have a passion for travel and a talent for creating memorable experiences? AAA Club Alliance is seeking an experienced Full-Service Travel Agent with both domestic and international travel booking expertise to join our remote Travel Contact Center team. In this work-from-home position, you’ll help Members and non-Members plan and book personalized vacations—from weekend getaways to complex international itineraries. You’ll build lasting client relationships, provide exceptional service, and have the opportunity to earn monthly performance incentives. 100% Remote: Work from the comfort of your home.
- Competitive Pay: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and geographic location, plus monthly performance incentives for sales and bookings.
- Paid Virtual Training: Receive paid training with all required equipment provided.
- Sunday: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Saturday: Off
As a Remote Full-Service Travel Agent, you will:
- Plan and book domestic and international vacations, including customized FIT (Fully Independent Travel) itineraries.
- Assist Members and non-Members through phone, email, and web chat.
- Recommend destinations, travel products, and exclusive AAA benefits based on each traveler’s needs.
- Stay informed about travel promotions, destinations, and industry trends.
- Process travel reservations in compliance with ARC regulations and AAA policies.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products that enhance the overall customer experience.
- Meet established sales and performance goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Resolve travel-related issues and assist with itinerary changes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow Travel Contact Center Associates when needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent. Travel school graduates are encouraged to apply.
- At least 2 years of recent leisure travel industry sales experience.
- Experience with airline reservation systems, ticketing platforms, GDS, and online booking tools.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel planning.
- Excellent communication, customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of worldwide geography.
- The ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment.
Training & Schedule Requirements Attend all required paid virtual training, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST. Successfully complete training before beginning the regular work schedule. Work a set schedule that includes one weekend day each week, along with one weekday and one weekend day off. Join a Team That Helps People Explore the World!
