Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Overview :We are seeking an accomplished Trusts & Estates Tax Director with 10years of specialized experience in estate, trust, and high-net-worth individual tax planning and compliance.This leader will oversee complex estate and trust engagements, serve as a senior advisor to clients and internal teams, and drive strategic planning initiatives related to wealth transfer and legacy planning.The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, exceptional client-relationship skills, and experience managing sophisticated family wealth structures.This position is fully remote.Responsibilities :Lead the trusts and estates tax practice and oversee complex tax compliance, planning, and advisory servicesReview and sign off on fiduciary, estate, gift, and individual tax returns, including Forms 1041, 706, and 709Provide authoritative guidance on estate planning strategies, wealth transfer, charitable giving, and asset protectionAdvise high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, fiduciaries, trustees, family offices, and legal advisorsConduct advanced tax research and interpret federal and state tax laws and regulatory changesOversee estate and trust administration tax matters, valuations, and distributionsServe as a trusted resource and technical expert for attorneys, CPAs, financial planners, and wealth advisorsLead IRS examination strategies and manage resolution of estate and gift tax issuesMentor, develop, and supervise tax professionals; support recruiting and training initiativesManage key client relationships and support firmwide business development and practice growthEnsure the highest standards of compliance, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
