VB6 Developer Remote Job Summary We are seeking an experienced VB6 Developer to maintain, enhance, and support legacy applications built using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in legacy application development, debugging, database integration, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot VB6 applications. Analyze existing legacy code and implement application enhancements. Debug and resolve application defects and production issues. Develop and maintain integrations with SQL Server and other databases. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts. Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements. Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews. Support application deployments and production releases. Prepare technical documentation for application changes. Assist with modernization or migration of legacy VB6 applications when required. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 (VB6). Experience with VB6 application development and maintenance. Strong SQL Server / T-SQL skills. Experience with COM/ActiveX, DLLs, and Windows applications. Good understanding of database connectivity and integration. Experience with debugging and production support. Knowledge of ADO/DAO/ODBC is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
