Role Description The Vice President of Business Strategy is a full-time, remote role responsible for defining and driving the company’s long-term strategic direction. This position leads strategic planning initiatives, evaluates market opportunities, and aligns business goals with financial performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market and internal data, developing strategic roadmaps, collaborating with finance and sales leadership, and identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvement. The role also involves overseeing strategic projects, presenting recommendations to executive leadership, and ensuring that cross-functional teams execute against agreed strategic priorities.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, assess market trends, and support evidence-based strategic decisions. Expertise in Finance to understand financial statements, build business cases, and align strategy with revenue, profitability, and cost targets. Proven experience in Strategic Planning and Business Strategy to design, implement, and monitor long-term and short-term strategic initiatives. Background in Sales to collaborate with commercial teams, shape go-to-market strategies, and optimize growth opportunities. Extensive leadership experience in a senior strategic or executive role, preferably within technology or related industries. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing priorities and leading cross-functional teams virtually. Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
