Vice President of Retail Operations

Role Description The Vice President of Retail Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and optimizing Volsmart’s retail-focused asset tokenization and investment offerings. This position oversees retail strategy execution, store-like digital experience performance, and operational standards across all retail channels. Key day-to-day responsibilities include defining and implementing retail operating models, managing budgets and resource allocation, and aligning cross-functional teams in product, technology, finance, and sales. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, improving customer journeys, ensuring regulatory and compliance alignment in retail operations, and driving continuous process improvements. The Vice President will mentor leaders across the organization, support market expansion initiatives, and partner with senior executives to develop long-term retail growth strategies.

Qualifications

Strong financial acumen with skills in P&L Management and Finance to oversee budgets, forecasts, and profitability. Deep understanding of Retail operations, including digital and omnichannel environments, with experience scaling retail businesses. Proven expertise in Strategic Planning, including developing and executing long-term retail growth and operational strategies. Demonstrated Sales leadership, with experience in building high-performing teams and achieving ambitious revenue targets. Experience in or strong interest in blockchain, fintech, or asset tokenization; familiarity with global capital markets is an advantage. Track record of leading distributed, remote teams and collaborating effectively across functions and cultures. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, supported by data-driven management practices. Clear, inclusive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
