Vice President of Services
Role Description The Vice President of Services is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing service operations, customer support, and post-sales service delivery across the organization. This role manages service strategy, sets performance goals, and ensures service teams deliver timely, high-quality support to clients and partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing service policies and procedures, monitoring service KPIs, coordinating cross-functional initiatives with sales, operations, and finance, and resolving escalated customer issues. The Vice President of Services will also drive continuous improvement in service processes, optimize resource allocation, and contribute to long-term strategic planning for service offerings. This role involves coaching and mentoring service leaders, maintaining strong client relationships, and representing the services function in executive discussions.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret service metrics, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions. Experience in finance and budgeting to manage service department financials and optimize cost efficiency. Proven strategic planning skills to shape service roadmaps, align with business objectives, and support organizational growth. Demonstrated team leadership abilities to build, guide, and develop high-performing, distributed service teams. Extensive experience in service operations or customer success, ideally within medical equipment or healthcare-related industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external clients. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, using digital collaboration tools and managing geographically dispersed teams. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, healthcare management, or a related field; advanced degree is beneficial. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical device compliance standards, and industry best practices is an advantage.
