Vice President, Palliative Care
Vice President of Palliative Care Location: Remote / Multi-State Central Pyramid Healthcare is a growing provider of home health, hospice, and personal care services dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families. We are committed to expanding access to care, supporting our clinical teams, and improving patient outcomes across the communities we serve. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Palliative Care to lead the development, growth, and operational performance of our palliative care services.
What You'll Do
Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for palliative care services across multiple locations and markets. Develop and execute strategies to expand palliative care programs, increase patient access, and drive sustainable growth. Oversee clinical operations, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and overall program performance. Partner with executive leadership to establish operational goals, financial targets, and key performance indicators. Lead the development and implementation of standardized clinical practices, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with hospice, home health, and other healthcare leaders to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, health systems, referral partners, and community organizations. Identify opportunities for new market expansion, service development, and strategic partnerships. Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing clinical and operational leadership teams. Monitor program budgets, staffing models, productivity, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. Promote a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, collaboration, and compassionate care.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; master's degree preferred. 7+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including senior-level operational responsibility. Direct leadership experience in palliative care and/or hospice services strongly preferred. Experience overseeing clinical operations across multiple locations, regions, or markets. Demonstrated success developing, expanding, or improving palliative care programs. Strong understanding of palliative care delivery models, clinical quality standards, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements. Experience managing budgets, operational performance, and financial outcomes. Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and drive organizational growth. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership, clinical teams, and external stakeholders. Willingness to travel as needed to support operations and organizational initiatives.
