Virtual School Psychologist | Virginia
Provide specialized psychological services through telehealth to support student well-being and academic success in a school setting. This contract position is based in Manassas, VA, and focuses on delivering remote assessments, consultations, and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments via telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention services to students remotely
- Analyze student data to inform decision-making and track progress
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards and professional ethics
- Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions as required
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and delivering services via telehealth
- Strong understanding of educational and psychological testing tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to virtual environments
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing special education and psychological services
- Ability to work independently and manage telehealth service delivery with minimal supervision
