About the OpportunityWe're seeking motivated, relationship-oriented Advertising Sales Representatives to help local businesses grow their visibility through our print and digital advertising opportunities. Headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, we're expanding our sales presence throughout our five-county Gulf Coast service area. We're particularly interested in candidates who live in the communities we serve, including coastal Mississippi. This independent contractor opportunity offers flexible hours, primarily remote work and performance-based commission earnings. Representatives should be available to meet with local business owners and clients in person as needed.

Responsibilities

Identify and connect with prospective business advertisers. Build and maintain relationships with local business owners and decision-makers. Present print and digital advertising opportunities to prospective clients. Help businesses identify advertising options that align with their goals. Manage prospect communications and follow up on sales opportunities. Meet with prospective and existing clients in person when appropriate. What We're Looking ForExperience in B2B sales, business development or relationship-based selling preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivation, reliability and the ability to work independently. Comfort engaging with business owners and decision-makers. Familiarity with local Gulf Coast business communities is a plus. Ability to travel locally for occasional client meetings. Previous advertising or publishing experience is not required. We're happy to work with individuals who have strong sales skills and are willing to learn the industry.
